Hello,  my name is Chris. My testimony starts when I was saved at young age grew up in a Christian home, went to a private Christian school was involved with my church in VBS and the puppet ministry for kids at school and church.  During my high school years I was bullied because of my  love for Jesus and my faith. When I got out of school I struggled with things of the world like parties, drinking, going to night clubs, one night stands and many other things. I got off track from where I was with God and forgot the Good News that was shared with me since I was a child. For 18 years I was trying to do this on my own not realizing that God was always there but I was just ignoring want I knew I needed. I met my lovely wife and her three kids in 2019 at that time she was not saved and I was still not following God. We partied and was still living in sin.  We got married in 2022 we both struggled with drinking it became a normal thing for us in the evenings and soon started to effect our marriage and our kids lives. So I started to go back to church with my mom knowing that I was missing something. On April 14, 2024 I went to church with my mom at Mt. Carmel. That morning I remember waking up hearing and seeing the word Faith everywhere even in the message that pastor preached about that morning was about Faith. I remember telling mom as we sit in the driveway at my house after church that God was going to do something and wasn’t sure it was going to be bad or good but to pray for me. Two weeks later on May 2, 2024 my wife got her second DUI by hitting another vehicle. I remember that night so very well felt like God had left me in this deep valley and that I was all alone. I was trying to carry it all on my own. Then I remember hearing the word Faith again and then during that moment I decided to let go and let God. So I surrendered everything and let God handle it and got my focus back on God. My wife surrendered her life to Jesus and got saved. I saw God transform her life by her decision to follow Jesus and surrender everything. This was God that did this and yes Keleigh did make that decision but God was by her side the whole way. That’s what I needed too and so I decided to get rededicate my life to serving God. As it says in the Bible John 10:28-29. Jesus states, "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand".    

No one can pluck you out of his hands once your saved your are his and you are a child of God. We just have to let Go and let God handle our troubles, anxiety, and addictions as God sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins so that we will have eternal life with him in heaven.
